Cosplayer Of The Month Questions

What city are you based in?

I am based in Chilliwack, BC.

Can you tell us about your first cosplay?

It was Eren Jaeger from Attack On Titan, when AOT was very popular. It was my favourite cosplay and still is.

Do you have a cosplay piece that you are most proud of?

My Natsu Dragneel and Jack Frost, I designed them my way and I’m extremely proud of it.

What do you hope to achieve through cosplay?

I hope to achieve the goal of making others,  myself especially, happy and realize it’s okay to be you and to be different. Also spread awareness for those who are LGBTQ/BLM or in the Mental Health community, because I inspire to inspire those who just need a little love in their life.

Is there a cosplayer that you look up to or inspires you?

Yes, Akrcos, inspectorlemoncos and Theo.Masters. I really love their cosplays and I hope to meet them one day to thank them.

If you could give any piece of advice to new cosplayers, what would it be?

Just be you, never inspire to be someone else. Sometimes it’s hard to love yourself or what you’ve created cause someone else’s is “better” but creativeness is key, and so is improvement and believing in yourself.

What would you say is the hardest part of cosplaying?

The money and the motivation, for some people such as myself it’s hard. I think the motivation is hard sometimes when people demand a certain cosplay, or even just when you’re having a bad day and you’ve just gotten into the cosplay… But you’re still not feeling it. I also have to say the fans/followers, because it’s hard to realize sometimes that people come from different backgrounds and different ways of thinking… So receiving hate is also another hard part.

In honor of spooky season, what are you being for Halloween?

Hopefully, a character from Among us or a Dragon Queen.
