Welcome to FAN EXPO Portland! Our event prides itself on having a lot of activities and attractions that are family oriented. So come on down with the whole family to meet your favorite Superheroes, Princesses, voice actors, or maybe even enter the costume contest as a family! Plus, there are coupons and Family Passes available!

Indie meets pro in this special area where you will find all your favorite pencillers, inkers and writers. This is a “must experience area” for anyone interested in meeting the rising stars and the people who work the front lines of the industry. Here you’ll find it all – comics, graphic novels, limited edition prints and best of all, original art and sketches.

Comic Legends, Pro Comic Book artists, and writers will be with us all weekend. Be sure to drop by the Comic Creator area next to Artist Alley to meet them and geek out over their amazing work.

Cosplay is a huge part of our event and we are always bringing in Cosplayer guests with tremendous skills. You can meet with them and get a photo or attend one of our many seminars and workshops conducted by our talented guests.

Whether you're a Whovian or Jedi, a cosplayer or crafter, the Community Zone is where you find people who share your fandom! Find out about local clubs, get up close to movie props, test your trivia, and snap photos galore with fans who are excited as you are to get together.

Meet like-minded fans and get a picture to remember at a themed cosplay meet up. Watch for a schedule of specific fandom meet-ups closer to show time.

Back by popular demand! Check out your favorite comic artists as they go “pen to pen” and be entered to win the original art they produce once they’re done! An amazing experience to witness, these friendly rival competitions show who has got the edge in comic book illustration!

Many of our artist guests and Artist Alley creators will have original art, lithographs, limited edition art prints, original sketches and take commissions from fans.
