Do you love The Shire? Maybe you want to debate the layout of the Rocinante versus Serenity? Then you won't want to miss FAN EXPO Chicago's Sci-fi & Fantasy programming. From discussions, debates, cosplay, and gaming, there is something for everyone. Check the daily schedule to find out when and where the fun is happening.

Join the 501st Legion to become the "Droids (they) are looking for"! Participants are given a badge and become droids, it is then the Empire's job to catch those droids. Stop by the 501st booth on Saturday, August 12 to pick up your official "Droid Badge". Members of the 501st Legion will be walking around the convention floor in costume looking for droids. Once the members find you, they will confiscate the bottom portion of your droid badge and you will be entered to win a prize! Check the schedule for more details!

The Empire is searching for a few fugitives and needs your help to track them down and apprehend them! Participants will take on the role of a Bounty Hunter and will be given a “Fugitive Recovery Mission.” They will track down the “Bounty” somewhere on the convention floor. Once you locate your “Target”, feel free to use a catchphrase like; “There’s a bounty on your head”, or “I can bring you in warm or I can bring you in cold”. You will play a quick game of “Rock, Paper, Scissors”, and if you win, the fugitive is secured! Check the schedule for dates and times. 

The 501st Midwest Garrison is the Illinois chapter of the 501st Legion; a worldwide Star Wars costuming organization comprised of and operated by Star Wars fans. The 501st Legion represents the "villains" of the Star Wars universe and in addition to appearing in film-authentic, movie-quality costumes; the 501st is committed to helping the community. As the "Bad Guys Doing Good," the 501st is dedicated to putting its resources to good use by giving back to the community and offering support through volunteer work at charity events, fundraisers, and social functions. 

From Star Wars and Doctor Who to House of the Dragon and Lord of the Rings, FAN EXPO Chicago will feature Sci-fi & Fantasy themed Cosplay Meetups all weekend long. Meet like-minded fans, celebrate all things Sci-fi & Fantasy, and snap a picture to remember.
