Comic Legends, Pro Comic Book artists, and amazing writers will be with us all weekend long. Be sure to drop by the Comic Creator area next to Artist Alley to meet them and geek out over their amazing work.
DC AT FAN EXPO CHICAGO
Love DC’s comic books? Want to be a DC creator one day? Learn from the pros at FAN EXPO Chicago as DC brings you insights and teasers from the best in today’s writers and creators at engaging panels featuring Jeremy Adams, Andy Kubert, Nicola Scott, and Stephanie Williams and moderated by DC Editor Brittany Holzherr.Portfolio reviews will be done all weekend, by appointment, by a DC editor.
Portfolio Review Rules:
- All artwork must be the artist's original work.
- Storytelling samples or cover samples only.
- NO colorists or writing samples.
- NO original submissions, artwork will not be returned.
In person submissions must be dropped off at Rooms 8-9 by 6 PM each day, Friday and Saturday. The names of the artists chosen for review and review times will be posted outside Rooms 8-9 on Saturday and Sunday mornings by 10 AM.
COMICS AND COCKTAILS
Time to chill out, grab a drink, and talk comics. Join your favorite comic creators and mingle with other readers, writers, and artists for a casual and geeky happy hour. Plus, receive a limited edition litho that can be signed by guests. Free with badge. Bar for attendees 21+.

KUBERT SCHOOL CREATOR ACADEMY
Do you love drawing? Whether you're new to the world of illustration or already taking classes, hone in your skills by taking a class from the talented instructors at The Kubert School. Visit their booth, CZ180, on the show floor for free Creator Academy lessons and to watch master artists at work.
