Here at the FAN EXPO HQ, our team is always nerding out over the world of fandom. On Team Picks, we share some of our favorite things we’ve been watching, reading and playing. This month, we are diving into an age-old debate: Team Edward or Team Jacob?

As long as there have been Twihards, there have been heated discussions about the best character in the series. Edward’s otherworldly allure? Jacob’s strict adherence to a no shirt policy? The debate rages on.

This is such a loaded question! If I have to answer on the spot, honestly, I am Team Edward. He’s cooler than Jacob and on the actor side of things I like Robert Pattinson way more.

Carlisle is leader of the family for a reason—he’s smart, kind, patient, peaceful unless the other party is insistent on hurting the people he cares about, and extremely diplomatic. His self-control is incredible, and he treats people with respect no matter what differences they might have. Bottom line: he’s a really good person and a mentor for those around him. Team Carlisle for the win.
