Dive into cosplay workshops to perfect your costume, explore medieval and fantasy demos, craft unique creations with the Edmonton Public Library, build epic LEGO masterpieces, weave friendship bracelets, join comic creators for interactive art workshops, and immerse yourself in TTRPG workshops. With endless opportunities to create, learn, and connect to your fandom, the Makerspace is where imagination comes to life.

All weekend in the Third Floor Garden Court

Families, step into the Friendiverse Lounge—a fun-filled space where creativity and fandom collide. Kids and parents alike can make friendship bracelets, trade Pokémon cards, and craft cool souvenirs to take home.

Dogs? Check. Cat? Check. Cosplay? Check. Come meet Beaker, Bernoulli, and Brix, cosplay pets extraordinaire, when they swing by the Cosplay Red Carpet for a chance to snap a pic with the cutest pups and cat in town.

Is the Force strong with you? Calling all Padawans and younglings (ages 6-15) for an interactive lightsaber training experience hosted by Masters from your local Jedi temple.

EDMONTON EXPO is in turmoil and only you can help save the weekend. The multiverse is collapsing, villains are on the loose, and secret locations hold the key to restoring order. Journey to every corner of the convention to team up with fellow champions, complete your heroic mission, collect your prize (while supplies last), and be entered for a chance to win two weekend passes to EDMONTON EXPO 2027. Not all heroes wear capes… some wear shells. Join the Shell Shocked Turtle Hunt and search the venue for hidden rubber turtles, including a few styled like your favourite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Each turtle you find is yours to keep, so start the hunt and build your turtle-powered flock.

Did you know that princesses are pop culture fans too? The Enchanted Princesses have journeyed from far, far away and they want to meet you. Check the schedule closer to the show to see when they'll be making appearances.

Put the "sci" in sci-fi with Michael Ng. Join in his class in the Kids' Zone for some awe-inspiring science experiments.

Meet Elsa and Moana in the Kids' Zone and sing your heart out to all those songs you definitely know every word to. Frozen fans and Moana lovers, this one's for you.

Don’t be afraid to get your hands dirty. It’s the best way to create slime so good it would have Slimer himself jealous. Join the Alberta Ghostbusters in the Kids’ Zone for some paranormal slime creation. While supplies last.

Meet the Enchanted Princesses on the Cosplay Red Carpet in their Kpop Demon Hunters looks, then follow them to the Kids' Zone for a dance-along where everyone's invited to show off their best moves. From galaxy-famous designs to custom builds, the Badlands Droid Builders bring Star Wars tech to life. Meet the makers, see the droids up close, and get inspired to build your own in the Community Zone.

The Kids' Zone is calling all young adventurers for nonstop interactive fun. Construct castles and outsmart dragons, stack big blocks into masterpieces, prove yourself during The Floor is Lava, craft keepsakes that'll live on your fridge forever, and discover even more games waiting to be played.

The Friendiverse Lounge transforms family time into gaming time with meetups for Pokémon, Yu Gi Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, and more. Connect with other families who get just as excited about catching 'em all and building the perfect deck.

The music is pumping, the penlights are shining, and the spotlight is ready. IdolFest brings kaigai idols and idol groups together for a high-energy celebration packed with dazzling choreography, crowd-pumping performances, and infectious pop idol spirit. Cheer your heart out during the concert, then keep the excitement going at the meet & greet in the Anime HQ.

Bring your cards, your phone, your Switch, or whatever you use to play to the show to trade with fellow trainers. We'll be hosting a meetup for cards and another one for games.

The galaxy far, far, away comes to life with the 501st Legion. These aren’t just regular Star Wars fans, they’re a group that rep the franchise in film-accurate costumes. And they do it all while fundraising for local charities. Come grab some cosmic photos and give back to the community. Their groups include the 501st Legion, Rebel Legion, The Dark Empire, Saber Guild, Mandalorian Mercs, Mandalorian Protectors, Droidbuilders, and the Galactic Academy.
