Ready for the Cosplay Red Carpet? There's no pre-registration, no competition, and no stress. Walk the red carpet to show off your cosplay in front of adoring fans and get a professional photo taken by our official red carpet photographer.

Whether you're a Whovian or Jedi, a cosplayer or crafter, you can find friends at EDMONTON EXPO by joining our Cosplay Meetups. Check the schedule closer to the show for specifics.

All weekend in the Cosplay HQ

From stunning builds to iconic recreations, the Cosplay Showcase is where fandom meets craftsmanship. Come celebrate the talent behind the costumes.

Whether you want to be in the muse or the artist, this is the place to be. Be part of a community that creates fan art from live cosplay models. Paper and pencils for artists will be provided (but feel free to bring your own sketchbook). These free sessions are on a first-come first-serve basis.

It's EDMONTON EXPO’s cutest event. Come cheer on future cosplay stars at the Kids' Cosplay Red Carpet. Registration will take place 15 minutes before the event start time.

Unleash your creativity. The Makerspace is packed with hands-on activities for fans of all ages. Dive into cosplay workshops to perfect your costume, explore medieval and fantasy demos, craft unique creations with the Edmonton Public Library, build epic LEGO masterpieces, weave friendship bracelets, join comic creators for interactive art workshops, and immerse yourself in TTRPG workshops. With endless opportunities to create, learn, and connect to your fandom, the Makerspace is where imagination comes to life.

Escape the chaos of superheroes and wizards to relax at the Cosplay HQ. It's your retreat to fix a last-minute prop or take a well-deserved break. No matter the party or squad, this is your cozy corner to recharge. With community groups, the cosplay showcase, and chill spots to unwind, this is where cosplayers go to keep their cosplay game strong.

Trading cards are cool. But custom trading cards are even cooler. CAN Cosplay CARDS is a non-profit that creates cards for all kinds of cosplayers. If you want to show off your cosplay within the community collection, this is the right move for you.

From fabrication to acting, our line up of pros are on hand to show you how to take your cosplay game to the next level. Attend a panel, check out a demo, or meet them one-on-one.

Join your host, CAN Cosplay CARDS, and hundreds of fellow costume enthusiasts for spectacular photo opportunities, character meetups, and community celebration. Every fandom is welcome, from anime to superheroes.

The Money Pit Costuming Hub unites Alberta’s costuming fans under one roof. Join them in the Cosplay HQ to learn, connect, and collaborate, whether you’re just getting started, repping a smaller fandom, or exploring how to join larger groups. Everyone’s welcome, and support is always on hand.

Say cheese! The Cosplay Photo Park is open for business. We have a ton of scheduled photoshoots for a full range of fandoms. Check the schedule closer to the show to learn when it’s your time to shine in the best group photo.

Families, step into the Friendiverse Lounge—a fun-filled space where creativity and fandom collide. Kids and parents alike can make friendship bracelets, trade Pokémon cards, and craft cool souvenirs to take home.

Community Groups are taking over the show floor. Meet fellow fans, celebrate over your shared fandom, and discover all the amazing community groups at this year's event.
