501ST LEGION BADLANDS GARRISON

The galaxy far, far, away comes to life with the 501st Legion. These aren’t just regular Star Wars fans, they’re a group that rep the franchise in film-accurate costumes. And they do it all while fundraising for local charities. Come grab some cosmic photos and give back to the community. Their groups include the 501st Legion, Rebel Legion, The Dark Empire, Saber Guild, Mandalorian Mercs, Mandalorian Protectors, Droidbuilders, and the Galactic Academy.

ALBERTA GHOSTBUSTERS

Who you gonna call? The Alberta Ghostbusters of course. They're keeping the show safe from slimers so you can enjoy their awesome replica props, photo ops, and more.

EDMONTON BEYBLADE CLUB

Test your skills and spin to win—EBC brings the hype with monthly all-ages Beyblade tournaments and nonstop energy. Whether you’re a seasoned Blader or just getting started, there’s a spot in the arena for you. Check out the action all weekend in the Friendiverse Lounge.

THE MONEY PIT COSTUMING HUB

All weekend in the Cosplay HQ (Room 108)

The Money Pit Costuming Hub unites Alberta’s costuming fans under one roof. Join them in the Cosplay HQ to learn, connect, and collaborate, whether you’re just getting started, repping a smaller fandom, or exploring how to join larger groups. Everyone’s welcome, and support is always on hand.

THE ACADEMY OF EUROPEAN SWORDSMANSHIP

Swordplay, the old-school way. This inclusive HEMA group brings the techniques of historical European combat out of the history books and onto the show floor. Come see how real swordsmanship stacks up to your favourite fantasy duels by checking our their demonstrations, and visit their table in the Community Zone for a closer look at their combat gear. FUR-EH!

Fur-Eh! is Alberta's first-ever anthropomorphic convention, and it's a total celebration of everything furry fandom. Whether you're into art, suits, or just vibing with the community, this is your spot.

ANIMETHON

Animethon is a volunteer-run event that uplifts and showcases Asian popular arts and related local communities in Edmonton. They strive to bring people together to celebrate community, creativity, and culture.

NORTHWESTFEARFEST

NorthWest Fest is a non-profit film festival society that puts on festivals in the historical Garneau Theatre. Their events range from documentary screenings and local music to art and various other forms of media. Their next event will be NorthwestFEARFest, a horror film festival in October.

USS CERBERUS

This Edmonton-based crew is boldly going where no fan group has gone before. As a chapter of STARFLEET International, the USS Cerberus unites Star Trek fans through community service, charity events, and a shared love of all things Federation. Swing by the Community Zone to see what the crew of the Cerberus have in store for all Trekkies and fans all weekend long.

HISTORICAL ARMOURED COMBAT SOCIETY (HACSA)

The Historical Armoured Combat Sports Association (HACSA) is Canada's national league bringing together amateur armored combat teams nation-wide. Think of it as the ultimate playground for history enthusiasts who also happen to love a good fight (the safe, regulated kind, of course). Head to their booth throughout the weekend to catch one of their legendary knight fights.

Society of Creative Anachronism

The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) is an inclusive, international non-profit volunteer educational organization, researching and re-creating pre-17th century skills, arts, combat and culture. While dressed in clothing of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, participants of all ages employ knowledge of world history while enjoying tournaments, royal courts, feasts, dancing, classes, and more.

CAN COSPLAY CARDS

Trading cards are cool. But custom trading cards are even cooler. CAN Cosplay CARDS is a non-profit that creates cards for all kinds of cosplayers. If you want to show off your cosplay within the community collection, this is the right move for you. Catch them throughout the weekend in the Cosplay HQ.

METRO CINEMA

Metro Cinema brings bold, boundary-pushing films to the big screen. Operating out of the historic Garneau Theatre, this not-for-profit is all about community, conversation, and celebrating cinema you won’t find at your average multiplex. Check out their booth in the Community Zone to learn more about this historic theatre and what's coming to their screens next.

NORTHERN ALBERTA LEGO USERS GROUP (NALUG)

Play the day away with the Northern Alberta LEGO Users Club (NALUG), a registered not-for-profit society located in Edmonton with members from Red Deer to Grande Prairie to Cold Lake and all points in between. Check out their booth to see their amazing creations and to get inspired for you next big build.

BADLANDS DROID BUILDERS

From galaxy-famous designs to custom builds, the Badlands Droid Builders bring Star Wars tech to life. Meet the makers, see the droids up close, and get inspired to build your own in the Community Zone.

Unleash your creativity. The Makerspace is packed with hands-on activities for fans of all ages. Dive into cosplay workshops to perfect your costume, explore medieval and fantasy demos, craft unique creations with the Edmonton Public Library, build epic LEGO masterpieces, weave friendship bracelets, join comic creators for interactive art workshops, and immerse yourself in TTRPG workshops. With endless opportunities to create, learn, and connect to your fandom, the Makerspace is where imagination comes to life.

Hear ye, hear ye, all gather at the Medieval Multiverse and join the Society for Creative Anachronism to witness history, adventure, and pop culture colliding. Learn medieval dances, learn more about the Arts and Sciences that inspire your fave media, enjoy bardcore music, try your hand at medieval games, and experience thrilling armoured and rapier combat that's fun for all ages.
