GENSHIN IMPACT - NATLAN REGION

As the Traveler, Mondstadt is the very first nation you explore in search of your lost sibling. Based loosely of the country of Germany, Mondstadt is the nation of windswept mountains and windmills. It is home to the people who worship Lord Barbados (Venti), the Anemo Archon and God of Freedom. Current explorable regions include: the Brightcrown Mountains, Galesong Hill, Starfell Valley, Windwail Highland, and Dragonspine.

Loosely based off of the country of China, Liyue is the second nation the Traveler visits and is home to the people who worship Rex Lapis, the Geo Archon and God of Contracts. Explorable regions include: The Bishui Plain, Lisha, Minlin, Qiongji Estuary, Sea of Clouds, The Chasm, Chenyu Vale, and Mt. Laixin.

A series of islands make up the Nation of Inazuma which is loosely based off of the country of Japan. After making a traitorous journey across the sea with Beidou and the crew of her ship, the Crux, the Traveler lands in Inazuma -- the third nation explored in Teyvat. The people of Inazuma worship the Raiden Shogun who is the Electro Archon and God of Eternity. Explorable regions include: Narukami Island, Kannazuka, Yashiori Island, Watatsumi Island, Seirai Island, Tsurumi Island, and Enkanomiya

Inspired by both South Asian and Middle Eastern cultures, Sumeru is a nation with lush, tropical forests and barren, desert ruins to explore. It's home to followers of Lesser Lord Kusanali, the Dendro Archon and God of Wisdom. Explorable regions include: Ardravi Valley, Ashavan Realm, Avidya Forest, Lokapala Jungle, Lost Nursery, Vissudha Field, Hypostyle Desert and more.

Fontaine, inspired by Belle Époque, a period of French history in the late 19th century characterized by technological advancement and artistic flourishing, features large expanses of water and allows for extended underwater exploration. It is home to those who worship Focalors, the Hydro Archon and God of Justice. Explorable regions include: the Belleau Region, Beryl Region, Court of Fontaine Region, Liffey Region, Fontaine Research Institute, Erinnyes Forest, Morte Region, Nostoi Region and the Sea of Bygone Eras.

The nation of Natlan seems to be inspired by several indigenous cultures from Pre-Columbian Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Oceania. It features volcanic terrain with natural hot springs, and its people are grouped into several different tribes including the Nanatzcayan, the Huitzlan, and the Meztli. They all worship Mavuika, the Pyro Archon and God of War. Current explorable areas include: the Basin of Unnumbered Flames, Coatepec Mountain, Tequemecan Valley and the Toyac Springs, with many more to come!
