MEET MR. PANTS

Mr. Pants is a four-year-old Maine Coon who’s equal parts chunky and charming. Named after the character in Home Movies with H. Jon Benjamin, he’s got a love for ham and has claimed an old Hello Kitty suitcase as his throne. A master of surprise, he’s always jumping out from behind corners to keep his family on their toes—which is made even more terrifying when he’s dressed like a vampire.

Five-year-old Doberman-Rottweiler mix Duchess is a retired service dog who served in Toronto for three years before enjoying her well-deserved retirement on the Saskatchewan prairies. Duchess loves playing ball, cosplaying as Spider-Hound, and spending quality time with her dad and sister. Not only is she a superhero in her own right, but she also embraces the true meaning of great power coming with great resPAWnsibility.

Fronk is a 12-year-old French Bull Dog. He may be older but don’t let his age fool you, Fronk is always up for a thrilling time. This Frenchie is a big fan of curling up to watch an ‘80s horror movie and is happy to be cosplaying his fave antagonist, Freddy Kruger. Naturally, his family has adopted the nickname “Fronky Kruger” for the sweet senior pup.

Our Cosplay Pet of the Month for July is Fast Eddie. As a Chinese Crested, a mostly hairless dog, Eddie’s Flash cosplay is both fashionable and functional. The eight-year-old cutie also keeps warm by squeezing himself between his humans for cuddles on the couch and by asking for blankets before bedtime. If you’re wondering where his powers originate from, it’s not the suit. This super-pup is fueled by eating his kibble with milk as if it’s cereal.
MEET PADFOOT

Our very first Cosplay Pet of the month is Padfoot, a 10-year-old husky mix. If you haven’t guessed it, he’s cosplaying Sirius Black, AKA Padfoot, from Harry Potter. Padfoot loves naps, hates the dishwasher, and is always down to howl at 6:00 AM. He is a husky, after all.
