The Woman, The Myth, The Legend
From TV to Film, she is known to portray tough and resilient characters such as Sarah Connor, Cathrine Chandler, Rachel Wando, General McCallister, and many more. With the 40th anniversary of The Terminator, it’s time to take a moment to appreciate the career of the actress who played the legendary character, Sarah Connor: Linda Hamilton.
The Terminator
Portraying the one and only Sarah Connor in the Terminator Universe since 1984, Linda Hamilton cemented her character as one of the best action heroes in cinema. But looking back at her time in the franchise, creating Sarah Connor as an icon was never her intention:
“You know, it feels good. I have been handed that title a few times. You know, it's just absolutely not at all. But you never know, because the first one was a slow burn, too, and I don't think any of us looked at that and said, this can be like so you don't know what the things that were moving rules don't lead you seven years later. But I'll take the mantle that people that put on me, and you know, been very, be very grateful for it."
