Wicked

Jeff Goldblum will be stepping into the role of the Wizard of Oz in Wicked this November. And from the interviews, it sounds like he had an absolute blast on set. In the USA Today article Jeff Goldblum on playing Zeus in Netflix's 'KAOS,' singing on set with 'Wicked' co-stars, Goldblum reminisces about singing with his co-stars on set between takes saying, "I went, ’Let's sing this song and let's sing that song.’ And we had a grand time".

There have been so many actors who have portrayed the Wizard both in Wicked and the other adaptations of The Wizard of Oz. Many fans are excited and eager to see his unique take on the Wizard. In the Vanity Fair Article Of Course Jeff Goldblum Cries While Watching the Wicked Trailer: “This Show Just Kills Me”, describes his take as “kind of a [Nikola] Tesla character who’s invented the 20th century, in a way, in this parallel universe, and movies and mythmaking, et cetera, et cetera".

We're looking forward to see Goldblum as the Wizard and we know he will be wonderful.

Since 1993, Jeff Goldblum has played the charismatic Dr. Ian Malcolm, a charismatic mathematician who specializes in chaos theory, in the Jurassic Park franchise. Capturing the hearts of fans with his charm and witty lines, Dr. Ian Malcolm has become one of the most memorable characters in the franchise. However, that almost wasn't going to be the case.

The character of Dr Ian Malcolm was nearly cut for the movie adaptation. There was a debate about rewriting the script and whether the movie needed him. Luckily for the film and fans, Dr Ian Malcom was saved from the chopping block and became a fan favorite, even becoming the lead in the sequel.
