Giancarlo Esposito has graced our TV and movie screens since the late 1970s. Most well known for his villainous characters, Giancarlo has given captivating performance for some of the most intimidating characters in media. From Moff Gideon and Gus Fring to Hypnos and Leo Pap, whenever Giancarlo Esposito is on screen you better get the popcorn out because it is going to be a good show.

THE MANDALORIAN

The menacing Moff Gideon was the main antagonist in Season 1 and 2 of The Mandalorian, as he hunted down little Grogu throughout both seasons. 

“It was a great honor. I knew it would be exciting, whether it had been Star Wars or some other story that spurred my imagination. But the word of Star Wars is one that I’ve admired since I was younger... You know, I’ve loved working on The Mandalorian because it’s about wonder and anticipation. BREAKING BAD & BETTER CALL SAUL

Giancarlo Esposito is best known for portraying Gus Fring, the main antagonist of Breaking Bad and the money laundering business man in Better Call Saul. His character, throughout the Breaking Bad series, secretly plots revenge against the members of the Mexican Cartel because of the death of his business associate Max Arciniega.

On stage at a convention, Giancarlo reflect on how Gus Fring was one of the most intimidating villains he has played saying “He has a face that you don’t see — a face that’s hidden.
