Temuera Morrison voiced Chief Tui, Moana's protective father in the 2016 animated film, Moana. He brought a warmth and strength to the character that was reminiscent of the Disney dads of the Disney renaissance. As the leader of Motunui, Chief Tui's journey from fear to understanding mirrors his daughter's own path of self-discovery. Morrison's performance captured the complexity of a father torn between keeping his daughter and village safe and letting her follow her destiny.

After originally playing Jango Fett in Attack of the Clones, Temuera Morrison returned to Star Wars to embody the legendary bounty hunter, Boba Fett, as an older, battle-worn warrior. He transformed Boba Fett from a mysterious villain from the original trilogy into a complex character seeking to build his own legacy.
