SPONGEBOB EPISODES

Honestly, do we even need this intro? You know what you’re here for. SpongeBob SquarePants had a grip on our lives like no other show and it’s about time we put out our official ranking of the top six (or seven… we couldn’t decide) episodes in this show. Now OF COURSE we will miss some great episodes. We just ask that you please don’t call us a Weenie if you don’t agree with our choices.

1. BAND GEEKS

SEASON 2, EPISODE 15

Is mayonnaise an instrument? Duh. From start to finish, this episode is pure perfection. We think the word ‘amazing’ sums up everything here: amazing song, amazing episode, amazing jokes, amazing rivalry. Just amazing.

2. CHOCOLATE WITH NUTS

SpongeBob and Patrick in Chocolate with Nuts

SEASON 3, EPISODE 12

CHOCOLATE?! The shenanigans that SpongeBob and Patrick get up to in this episode are hilarious, there’s iconic line delivery from the Chocolate guy, and that shocking twist ending from our fave con artist. Fancy living, here we come.

3. RIPPED PANTS / TEXAS

Honestly this was a draw for us. Both episodes here have not only great stories, but such iconic songs. To this day I’m still singing “Yodel-ay-e-oh” over and over again at random times.

4. FRANKENDOODLE

SEASON 2, EPISODE 14

DoodleBob. Need we say more? This episode was actually kind of terrifying which is what makes it so iconic. We can all bond in the shared lowkey trauma from we got from this episode. ME HOY MINOY!

5. NO WEENIES ALLOWED

SpongeBob and Patrick in No Weenies Allowed

SEASON 3, EPISODE 8

Would you rather go to The Salty Spitoon or Weenie Hut Jr’s? If you even know what we’re talking about here, then you must understand why this episode is on our list. Patrick getting beat up by SpongeBob without even laying a hand on him is an underrated iconic scene.

6. GRAVEYARD SHIFT

SpongeBob and Squidward in Graveyard Shift

SEASON 2, EPISODE 16

We really love this episode… at night. We think everyone who’s seen SpongeBob is as terrified of the Hash Slinging Slasher as our iconic Krusty Krab duo were this episode. Don’t worry though, the only thing more real than SpongeBob’s love for the night shift is Nosferatu.
