Creator of the Month Questions

What city are you based in?

Toronto, Canada

Tell us a bit about yourself!

At the moment, I’m really into my VR platform. I just started watching Invincible (so good) and I’m one of the co-stars for a YouTube Channel, The Sean Ward Show, where I mostly portray Spider-Man.

What fandoms are you into?

My fandoms change depending on the day. Some of my favourites include Marvel, DC, Jurassic Park, Anime, Power Rangers, American Horror Story, The Walking Dead and now Invincible.

Can you tell us about your first cosplay?

My first cosplay was a White Dino Power Ranger, purchased from Aniki Cosplay. In the beginning, I was really thrilled to receive the costume, and trying it on made me feel like a Power Ranger from the TV show. I couldn’t take it off. I no longer have this cosplay as it's been converted to another Ranger.

Do you have a cosplay piece that you are most proud of?

I got inspired by a Spider-Man cosplayer named Zachary Luna. This is where I started my Spider-Man cosplaying. I’ve had this specific cosplay with me since the beginning and I’m very happy to still be wearing it. This cosplay I’m referencing is my Ultimate Spider-Man cosplay, pattern design by Gun Head Designs.

What do you hope to achieve through cosplay?

When I started cosplaying, my first achievement was to go to a convention and see what it was all about. After my first experience at FAN EXPO, I knew I really wanted to go to more conventions and experience more of this fandom atmosphere. It was fun to go up to other cosplayers and ask for their picture. I love exploring all the booths and viewing the different businesses. My next achievement is to continue to create more amazing memories, make new cosplays, and hopefully inspire others.

If you could give any piece of advice to new cosplayers, what would it be?

If you haven’t gone to a convention, GO! It’s an opportunity to get creative, improve your skills as an artist, meet new friends to share ideas with for future cosplay line ups, and most important, have fun!
