What city are you based in?
Can you tell us about your first cosplay?
Well, I tried to make a closet cosplay of Storm from X-Men but my wig didn’t arrive on time. Then when it finally got to me I decided my first official cosplay would be Totoro from My Neighbor Totoro. I just loved the film so much and the cosplay was super comfortable.
Do you have a cosplay piece that you are most proud of?
It is a tie between my How To Train Your Dragon Toothless chest piece and my Christmas Sailor Pluto dress. My chest pieces were the first time I really got into armor making and every time I look at it I want to make so many more armor pieces. My Christmas Sailor Pluto dress is my favorite dress I’ve ever made, and I always wear it around the holidays.
What do you hope to achieve through cosplay?
I just enjoy meeting new people and hope to improve my skills in crafting.
If you could give any piece of advice to new cosplayers, what would it be?
Don’t be scared to cosplay and YouTube really helps, especially with the basics.
What would you say is the hardest part of cosplaying?
The hardest part of cosplaying would be time management. No one ever wants to be stuck at the con hotel still sewing because it’s not fun!
In the spirit of Valentine's Day, who is your cosplay crush?
My cosplay crush will always be my partner!
