How do I apply to the EXPO EATS Program?

To be considered, restaurants must:

  • Be located close in proximity to the Vancouver Convention Centre
  • Have a valid Food Service Permit from Vancouver Coastal Health (if providing a food discount/ classified as a restaurant)
  • Include theme Integration Initiatives
    • We encourage all restaurants to create menus that integrate with the comic and pop culture themes - such as creating special menus for FAN EXPO weekend. Décor and brand integration is at your discretion to create a celebration of all things pop culture.
    • Use the FAN EXPO Vancouver logo & link inclusion or banner ad on your events page or landing page
    • Engage fans online with social media promotions and/or email database to help promote your participation
  • Provide either a standard promotional offer or incentive value-added offer to visitors, exhibitors, staff, or volunteers upon presenting an official FAN EXPO Vancouver badge or wristband

Offer Types

  1. STANDARD PROMOTIONAL OFFER
    Up to 20% off offer to visitors, exhibitors, staff, volunteers upon presenting badge or wristband at participating restaurants/ businesses. (% discount based on your discretion, as mutually agreed)
  2. INCENTIVE VALUE ADDED OFFER
    Grab & Go options, value meals, family/kid’s meals/ packages, beverage incentives, or special menu pricing offers/ ticket offers - not combined with the 15% off offer

*Offers must be available for dine-in and take out service, with the valid 2025 FAN EXPO Vancouver branded badge or wristband

Accepted partner benefits include the following:

  1. Logos and links with menu offer description on FAN EXPO Vancouver website under Plan Your Visit/ FAN EXPO Eats Offers
  2. Listing in FAN EXPO EATS email blast
  3. Social media promotional posts promoting participating restaurants in the program (program specific)
  4. Access to tickets and opportunity to purchase tickets at a group discount

REQUIRED INFORMATION

When submitting your application, ensure you include:

  1. Incentive offer
  2. Full contact information for manager and chef applying for the program
  3. Cuisine/style of restaurant
  4. PNG versions of the brand logo in colour as well as black and white
  5. PDF versions of any menu to be reviewed/used during the program
