Join this magical fantasy and fairytale community to celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Lord of the Rings. With trivia, cosplay, Hobbit song singing, light LARPing, and a Shire photobooth, it’ll feel like you got transported to the heart of Middle-earth. You wont want to miss these Sunday-only activities.

The Saber Guild is a Star Wars costuming and lightsaber choreography group. They are also the only group permitted by LFL/Disney to present saber shows and give training. As one of the newest members of the Star Wars costuming community in BC, the Alderaan Temple is thrilled to be joining in on all of the intergalactic excitement at FAN EXPO.

Academie Duello is the world’s largest school of swordplay. Expect a hands-on taste of real historical martial arts and try safe swordplay drills, test your aim with axe throwing props, handle real training weapons, meet fully-armoured knights, take photos, and even try on medieval armour. You can also catch knight fights on red carpet throughout the weekend.

Join Meeple Leaf Gaming at FAN EXPO Vancouver's Community Zone. They'll have three days of free play tabletop gaming where you can rediscover an old favourite or play something brand new with the help of their experts.

SFU Anime x StudioSIAT brings together anime, manga & VTuber fans of all ages from SFU & Vancouver. Watch Motion Capture Live Demo with a VTuber Model, interact with a VTuber, and catch demo student projects including table top games, video games, and AR experiences. You'll also find a Gacha machine with pins and a whiteboard that you can draw on.

From wardrobe malfunctions to last-minute prop mishaps, Just Be Cos-Cospital Cosplay Repair is your go-to fix-it spot on the show floor. Drop by their booth in the Cosplay HQ for supplies, support, and a quick save before heading back out.

This Fantasy Improv troupe runs a nerdy comedy improvised theatre show. Laugh and enjoy the show, and as a not-for-profit organization, profits from the shows will go to charity.

The Droid Builders are coming to the FAN EXPO Vancouver Community Zone. Check out their incredible creations and get inspired to create your own as you dive into the worlds of robotics and prop building.

The Mandalorian Mercs is an international Star Wars costuming organization dedicated to celebrating the Star Wars universe and uniting individuals with a common love for Star Wars and The Mandalorian culture. They also encourage self-improvement, personal growth, family involvement, and fellowship with peers.

Cosplay meets collectibles—Cancosplay Cards brings your favourite cosplays to life as trading cards. This nonprofit celebrates every skill level, turning community into a deck of legends. Check them out in the Cosplay HQ all weekend to get your own customized and collectible cosplay card.

Do you want an opportunity to study or work in Japan? This is the booth to visit for all the info. You can also try traditional Japanese toys and games, learn to fold origami, grab Japanese pop-culture pamphlets to take home, participate in Japan trivia, and take part in visitor polls.

Unite with fellow anime fans with the help of the student-run club, BCIT Anime Club. Feel free to sketch an image on a sticky note to add to the drawing board, and join a small anime trivia at the table using a tablet or your phone for a chance to win prizes, including anime-themed stickers and pins.
