Team Picks: Best Fictional School

Here at the FAN EXPO HQ, our team is always nerding out over the world of fandom. On Team Picks, we share some of our favorite things we’ve been watching, reading and playing. This month, it’s time to head back to school! Fictional schools and academies, that is.
We are all beyond our school years, and last we checked none of those schools we attended had magic lessons, superpowered students, or murder mysteries (hopefully). For this edition of Team Picks, we’re formally requesting a transfer to another school—one that we feel will better align with our learning styles.
Today, we’re each picking a fictional school to enroll in. There’s the bell—we better get started.

There are a few fictional schools that stand out to me and I have thought would be a great place to get an education. The school that I would have to say has me most interested in enrolling though is Breaker High. Having your school base on a large cruise ship on the ocean and stopping at different ports all over the world? That is just a dream.

I'm picking Hogwarts for three reasons. 1. I would love to be a wizard 2. I would love to be friends with Harry, Ron and Hermione (If they'll have me) 3. The food.

I’m going with William McKinley High School from Glee. Con: there’s a lot of drama. Pro: drama aside, it seems like all they do is sing all day? Sounds pretty great.

This was a tough one, but I have to go with U.A. High School from My Hero Academia. First of all, if I’m allowed to enroll, I must have a Quirk (yay superpowers!), and that’s inherently great on its own. Plus, nearly everyone else on campus is nice, the teachers seem really good at what they do, there’s a lot of natural light and green space, and you get your own room with full freedom to decorate as you wish. Sure, sometimes supervillains are going to try to break in and wreck your entire day, but hey, did I mention the room thing?
